So I got a PS4 two days ago and since then been playing AC Unity along with a few other games that aren't relevant right now. Anyway, I'm not in love with it ,infact I'm a few hours in and I'm still adjusting to it. Its so different from the past AC games, I couldn't grasp that until I played it myself.

Pros:

SO MUCH TO DO!

The graphics; no framerate issue...yet

Customization

Cons:

Navigation feels weird but that just may be me getting use to the PS4 controller.

4 too many currrency systems.

Micro-transactions

Upgrade system

All in all though I'm enjoying my time, need some ppl to kill templars with though...

My Psn name is Botchastic1117...j-just gonna leave that there...

I have a boatload of problems with the game, but there's definitely some good fun to be had with it, and I don't think I would have minded the issues all that much if I weren't just getting a bit tired with the series in general. Glad you seem to be somewhat enjoying your time!

Be thankful you didn't switch from Xbox360 to PS3, like what happened to me with ACR. It was very confusing at first because not only did I have to use PS3 R1 button to run instead of Xbox right trigger, that was also when eagle vision was changed from Head button to Analog stick.

Its a good thing that Unity is mapped similar to other AC games on the controller. PS3 R2 button being run PS3 R2 button+(x) for free-run up. Eagle vision being triangle. I would occasionally forget I was playing on PS4 and press square instead of (x) or something like that.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which

It took me a LONG time to adapt when I switched from the PS2 controller to 360, so I definitely relate to this confusion!

Same here, in terms of both the game and the controls. I've been mostly a PlayStation player my whole life (except I had a Vanilla Xbox Tongue) but the navigation in Unity does seem a bit weird at first.

I'll say it here.

For the first time in two months, I will play some Unity this week and this weekend.

The last time I played, there were no DLCs and I could money blend.

No board games this weekend (man, has that been fun though...)

Might take the dog on a hike/to the beach.

But I want to get some video games in, so I will.

The first two letters are Capital.

Found something else I should mention and its about Co-op. I find it annoying how the notification will randomly pop up when I'm just runnin' through the six. It takes away the main mission maker and it stays around for a while, very annoying. Also WTF is the point of Creed points? I earn so many of them and they are seemingly useless.

You can use them to Upgrade a weapon. That's it.
Aside from that, it "levels up" your Assassin with an arbitrary Rank but it doesn't do anything, and it doesn't mean anything.

Well that's disappointing.

I guess I'll never have to write an official review of this game. You just typed it.

I wish creed points were only given to you at the end of completing a mission/side activity (based on how rad the way you completed it was), and also that they were the only currency in the game.

That would have been a fine step toward fixing everything.
Or, more accurately, not breaking the things in the first place.

If only AC co-op was made a few years ago, before all the yearly BS was shoved down our throats. It would have been way more popular.

I have wanted to investigate something in co-op. If anyone remembers the armor room introduction scene, it happens the first time you enter that place and can be done in free roam. So if you started the scene while co-oping... I don't know what will happen. Either the scene wouldn't start or the other players would just stand there during or maybe won't even be affected by the scene. Either way it's worth checking out.

What we'll need is someone with a game file who hasn't activated the scene yet (actually the scene can be started again when replaying [older?] memories, so it might also work when replaying co-op missions).

Friday or Saturday night might work for me if any else is interested in the idea.
